Macsteel Cares
Macsteel has a long history of offering support to community projects for sport development, making donations to community organisations and NGOs, as well as making contributions through other corporate sponsorships. With the introduction of DTI codes of good practice, new challenges and opportunities have opened, in relation to the way in which CSR is implemented at Macsteel. The move towards sustainability reporting, and the holistic treatment of good citizenship activities, also lends itself to a more integrated approach to CSR. Macsteel intends realigning and refocusing its corporate social investment programme in accordance with these changing factors.
